Custom-made foot orthotics and Toenail braces

Podiatry deals with the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of conditions affecting the foot, ankle, knee and hips.

At ParkwayHealth, our podiatrist can treat various conditions of the feet including fitting for insoles, diabetic foot measurement, and toenail braces for ingrown nails.

Foot orthotics are shoe inserts fitted by a podiatrist to tilt the foot (and its related structures) into proper position. Orthotics can be molded or milled from an impression of the foot and fabricated according to the podiatrist’s clinical examination. Orthotics are used for medical correction, support or stimulation.

When to see a Podiatrist?

  • Make custom made toenail braces, individually adjusted, both adults and kids
  • Measure blood circulation & neuropathy, ulcers prevention and teaching of ulcers management

Pia Hansen

Pia has been practicing since 1998 after she graduated from Danish Chiropody School in Denmark. She has had her own clinic in Denmark and worked for 3 different Danish hospitals, one specializing in diabetic ulcers. She is skilled in making custom made insoles and individually adjusted and custom made braces for ingrown toenails. Pia speaks Danish, English and German.
